“John Davis, a Practising
Solicitor for 27 years, has a wide experience in civil, commercial and criminal litigation, including building arbitration, family and tribunal work. He was one of the first Solicitors to be granted exemption to become a Higher Court Advocate, giving him the same status as a Barrister in all of the higher Court and Criminal Divisions, including the Court of Appeal, in which he has appeared regularly and the House of Lords. He is also the only Solicitor to receive a coveted “Red Bag” awarded by Queens Counsel for distinguishing himself whilst in a major fraud Trial.This required the consent of the then Lord Chancellor and the Chairman of the Bar Council.

Alan Pearson qualified at
Leeds University and has been in practice for nearly 30 years. He specialise in planning and commercial conveyancing, having worked for one of the largest City of London Firms and was senior partner of his own Practice prior to retiring. Since then he became a freelance consultant and we are now delighted to welcome him into our practice specialising in these areas. He is a very accomplished and experienced commercial and domestic conveyancer and is highly regarded by all of our clients, in particular, the substantial property development PLC’s for whom the Practice acts, together with many other commercial clients who have transferred their work to the Practice.

Sian has been with the
practice for 16 years and
combines the roles of Personal Assistant and Secretary to John Davis;Office Administrator par excellence; Litigation Executive; Barrister's Clerk and expert staff member liaising with our Client's,
the Bar and the Legal
Services Commission.
Sian is universally respected throughout the profession for her expertise and efficiency and assisting Client's with their problems. Sian also organises the practice so as to ensure it maximises it's effectiveness to the full.

Lynda is both the Practice
Manager and a very
experienced litigation executive, dealing with civil, criminal and matrimonial litigation. She has over 25 years experience and combines her role in the Practice with that of a mother of 4 children, 2 older and 2 ounger.She is highly regarded by the profession and all who meet her, in particular her understanding and compassionate approach to the problems which concern our clients in a difficult area of matrimonial and family affairs.

Steve has been with the practice a number of years. He brings with him a wealth of experience, particularly in the Criminal litigation field.He is highly respected throughout the profession and is very popular with clients to whom he provides reassurance and expertise in dealing with their problems. In addition he is highly computer literate and ensures, together with our outside experts that we take advantage of all new IT developments and that it all works and runs smoothly.
